CRO Analyst

We are looking for a long-term, full-time CRO Analyst who’ll be advising eCommerce companies on strategies and tactics that will increase their revenue, profits and conversion rates. 

You are expected to stay ahead of industry trends to maintain Conversion Team’s position as an industry leader. You will also be mentored by the Senior CRO Analyst to help you hone your skills and advance your career.

This is a fully remote position with a work week of 40 hours. 

Duties and responsibilities

The primary job duties of the CRO Analyst are:

Gaining Insights about visitors’ purchasing habits and what would make them purchase more and more often

  • In order to do that, you will need to conduct Analysis, User Testing, Polls, Surveys, Interviews, Focus Groups, etc. to discover the customers behaviors
  • Leverage your experience, personality heuristics, and business knowledge to gain knowledge about how people are interacting with eCommerce sites.
  • Take advantage of opportunities based on impact to the site and difficulty to test/implement, and regularly maintain a backlog of opportunities. 
  • Be updated with industry standards and emerging trends for fresh, impactful, and relevant recommendations. 

Creating Data-Backed Recommendations based on the insights from research 

  • Prepares the requirements for each recommendation. These requirements must serve all of the many audiences (marketing, development, QA, etc.) that will be reviewing them, providing clarity through rough wireframes/mockups and clear written instructions.
  • Anticipates any key performance metrics required to report on the effectiveness of recommendations, and ensure non-standard tracking requirements are outlined for development. 

Testing to determine the impact of your recommendations

  • Tests/reports using A/B, MVT, Serial, etc. to learn if your recommendations have any impact. 
  • Analyzes key audience and traffic segments in addition to overall impact. 

Client Reporting & Communication

  • Attends bi-weekly team meetings.
  • Serves as a point of contact for clients and will provide them with insightful monthly reports.
  • Generates ad hoc reports to answer the clients’ key business questions as necessary.

Team Collaboration 

  • Fosters an environment of open communication and collaboration by sharing project updates, recommendations, and concerns with the team
  • Supports and mentors interns and new hires who may be assigned to your team. 

Qualifications

  • High understanding of online business and marketing tactics.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure.
  • Excellent communicator and team player.
  • 1+ years in actively and deliberately improving websites.
  • Experience with A/B Testing and Google Analytics 
  • Experience conducting market and audience research.
  • Experience with client management (Internal or External).
